The Christmas the lights went out

At the beginning of the story, all the characters seemed very boring or depressed. Everybody felt lonely or regret wasting their time on meaningless things. When the lights went out, it was like an enlightenment for them, which changed the negativity into positivity once the lights went back on.

I chose the first story, the one about the Christmas lights. I liked it because it demonstrates how a seemingly insignificant action can affect tons of other people in tons of different ways. This phenomenon is called the butterfly effect. I also liked it because it´s about Christmas and Christmas is my favourite time of year.
